Specimen Processing

Micro-samples are more susceptible to contamination and evaporation that larger samples. Avoid leaving sample containers (small or large) open dureing testing. Always cap immediately after sampling.

Cold samples are susceptible to condensation; warmer samples are susceptable to evaporation. Make sure body fluid is at room temperature prior to testing.
