Collection Instructions
Walk tubes to lab. Do not use pneumatic tube system

Blue Top:
Two 3mL Blue top (3.2% Sodium Citrate), or
Two 5mL Blue top (3.2% Sodium Citrate)
Lavender:
4 mL Whole Blood
Minimum Volume
Blue Top:
Two 3mL Blue top (3.2% Sodium Citrate), or
Two 5mL Blue top (3.2% Sodium Citrate)
Lavender:
0.5 mL Whole Blood
Turnaround Time
STAT: 1 hour
Routine: 4 hours

Specimens must be walked to the lab
Deliver all specimens to coagulation. Do not centrifuge
