Clinical Information
Urine is considered a “fluid biopsy” of the kidney and provides a wealth of information regarding the patient’s overall kidney and urinary tract health. Results from urinalysis can aid in determining whether the specimen should be sent for culture and further workup, as well as aiding diagnoses of metabolic disorders and liver dysfunction.
Test Limitations
Protect from light.
